Zumba. I'm sure by now you've heard of it but wondered, "What the hell is it?" Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system. Well now you can learn more and even participate here in Philadelphia.
AMLA, which stands for Artistas y Músicos Latino Americanos, or Artists and Musicians of Latin America, has promoted the development, dissemination, and understanding of Latin music and culture in the Philadelphia area since 1982. AMLA's programming emphasizes youth and family participation in the arts! Sign up for AMLA’s new Zumba Dance Classes and experience a whole new way to shed the pounds! Held every Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm ($10 a session). Classes begin January 11, 2010.
