Hot Hot Hot...2nd Annual Roots Picnic

There comes a time where we as a people should come together and celebrate diversity. This summer in Philly be sure to check out the 2nd Annual Roots Picnic. Last year it attracted over 5,000 visitors so I'm sure this year it'll be bigger! Philadelphia’s cultural ambassadors and hip-hop band will play host to Public Enemy, TV on the Radio, Santigold, The Black Keys, Antibalas and other acts during the daylong festival on June 6.

Last year was just phenomenal. Obama paraphernalia was selling like crazy and we were in one of those sweltering heat ways. The festival is held right by the Delaware River on Penn's Landing.

Tickets are on sale now and are available through www.Livenation.com
