That's right...this apparently cures anything in the Latino culture! And no it's not Vicks VapoRub, it's Vivaporu. You all know what I'm talking about haha.Anyways, this past X-Mas break I was talking with my cousins and brother and we came to the conclusion our family is crazy. They would come up with the most random cures for sickness.
Here are a few:
- Vivaporu with newspaper on chest
- Boiling beer to stop coughs
- Hot milk w/ diced carrots
- Baby boy peeing in ear for earache
- "That red liquid" on cuts

Red liquid=mercurio! (Might as well use arsenic).
The pee for the earache actually does work!

newborn baby has the hiccups = warm piece of cotton swap on their forehead
in response to the vivaporu.. dont forget it also does behind the ears!? did your family make you do that? I still do, even tho I know its not going anywhere. lol
