Ahhh yes, Cuba Libre...no not Gloria Estefan's song lol, the restaurant/club Cuba Libre. I've actually been to the one in Atlantic City a few times...more than the one in Philadelphia. To be honest there's a big difference too. Everything from the space to even the crowd.
I went to the AC location for my birthday and it was a lot of fun. Two floors, performances, great drinks and just having a good time with friends. The location is great too. The outside is actually an "inside" but the ceiling looks like the day/night sky; depending on what time it is. They even have this great "old school" car right outside the building painted with the Cuban flag. Don't think you're going to get in it or even kneel on it because security will stop you so fast.
The only bad thing about the AC location; they charge guys $15 as appose to the $0 in Philadelphia. Eggghh, I guess it's worth the trip though.

Cuba Libre is not a true latin club. Lets begin with the food ! It has an american spin to it attract that customer! I'm latin and that was NOT latin food. Authentic latin food usually comes from smaller mom&pop shops or a mexican/centaral american from a meal truck. Best pork ever. The music! The DJ has to go to NY, even PHILLY to get schooled. The 90's/mid 2010 all ready left. Get into the mainstream of Reggaeton and Bachata. Horrible music. Its become very mainsteam. Usher, Neo? I love them both but latin it is not. Maybe the name should be changed to sellout instead of Cuba Libre. There is nothin cuben/latin about it except for the decor!
