Some lives are COMPLEJO

The issue of race and identity is always weird. Some people are comfortable talking about it and some just aren't. And in New York City, I'm sure people are bound to be confused as to what is what...especially when being black and Latino. Open now at the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA) Gallery in Washington Heights, COMPLEJO aims to explore the issues of skin color, hair texture, self-esteem and what it means to be Latino and Black. And of course this exhibit wouldn't be complete with having featured Sammy Sosa. We all know what happened a few years ago....a travesty.
