A Latina leaders opportunity

It didn't take Beyonce's "Run this World" to let us know that women...well run this world. However, what I've seen in Philadelphia is a breed of Latina leaders who run the city. Whether it's at the government level or leading a small non-profit, they are everywhere. I guess that's why institutions like the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) exist. For over 24 years, the NHLI has fostered more than 500 Latina leaders through its award-winning Executive Leadership Program (ELP).

Each year NHLI selects 22 women to participate in their ELP program. A rigorous application process and requirements, this program is not for everyone. However, if you commit to sharing your profound learning experience by mentoring at least two other Latinas, then this is for you. Applications are due Friday, August 12 so hurry. Also, make sure you have $5k saved because that's roughly how much it will cost you...after scholarships.
