Wow so has it really come to this? In a world of technology where anyone can download ANYTHING on
LimeWire or other services, are recording artists doing better or worse than they were 10 years ago? Is this why a lot of singers, rappers, bands, etc are more and more going into other industries like clothing and movies? I must admit I have not purchased a CD but I still support the artist.

If you're album (from a few years ago) is selling for $3.99 then something seems to be wrong. Sometimes even
Twitter only deals seem to help out the artist or any other industry. Hopefully 5 years from now Twitter won't start charging users. Although it's a free advertising/communications tool, sometimes we have to be careful of how we relay this messages.
