So my second surgery was yesterday and I forgot how horrible it feels. Everything from changing clothes to not playing video games is starting to irk me. Although the surgery was almost the same, I noticed some differences. The biggest difference includes me taking off the splint myself because the doctor will be off all next week...doctors gone wild anyone?
Note: Thank god I kept the splint from two years ago. Apparently I have to reuse it.

So the plan for the National Museum of the American Latino will be presented in September; exciting news right!? Listen to Eva Longoria on the creation of the museum and why it's important.
So first off thank you to Mayte who brought this to my attention. I originally saw this song was in the works but didn't think it would end up like it did. After the Haiti earthquake, Gloria Estefan and company had the wonderful idea to make a Spanish version of "We Are the World". It started out great but then they just had to include (I guess it was) a reggaeton/rap section. Did you really have to add this? I mean did they add it to the original "We Are the World"? Yes rap is music but one of the lines also caught me off guard: Earthquake can bring it down,We just rebuild it. Again, did they have to mention this? Yes the song is wonderful and it's a great way to raise awareness to this international incident, but I also noticed some "diva" qualities in the song; people trying to out-sing each other.
"Somos el mundo" includes Juanes, Ricky Martin, Jose Feliciano, Vicente Fernandez, Luis Enrique, Grupo Aventura, Pee Wee, Belinda, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Banda El Recodo, Shakira, Thalia, Jeni Rivera, Tito El Bambino, Kani Garcia, Luis Fonsi, Jon Secada, Willy, Lisette, Ana Barbara, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Juan Luis Guerra, David Archuletta, Christian Castro, Ednita Nazario, Paquita la del Barrio, Ricardo Montaner, Gloria Estefan, Luis Miguel, Chayanne, Olga Tanon, Natalia Jimenez, Melina Leon, Pitbull, Taboo, and Paulina Rubio.
As all of you may already know, as of July 1st, "a law enacted by Puerto Rico in December, mainly to combat identity theft, invalidates all previously issued Puerto Rican birth certificates. That means more than a third of the 4.1 million people of Puerto Rican descent living in the 50 states must arrange to get new certificates." The Puerto Rican government is putting this in effect due to raids and stolen birth certificates last March. Who's fault is that now?
Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens but apparently don't have the same rights as everyone else. But what exactly does this new law mean? What if they don't get it in time? Can Puerto Ricans still go to Puerto Rico without being questioned? A lot of questions remain unanswered. I hope most of you are contacting the PR government and getting it settled before your vacation.
It was in 1995 when Anthony Miller and partner Robert Hauser imported San Francisco’s Mission-style burrito to Colorado, opening the first Qdoba Mexican Grill in Denver. Qdoba immediately won over customers and critics with the restaurant’s Mexican flavors and fresh ingredients. I mean seriously who doesn't enjoy a tasty burrito or even a naked burrito? With all types of salsas, I'm surprised it doesn't get me sick. Yes it's true :). Qdoba even serves a special 2-type meal where you get 2 of your favorite Qdoba offerings but as smaller portions. And as much as I'm there, I should probably sign up for their Qdoba card.
